Kylie Murphy
I am a clinical and health psychologist committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where
you can explore and begin healing current and past emotional wounds, and make positive, values-driven
changes in your life.
I provide treatment to individual adults for a range of problems including anxiety, depression, low self-
esteem, relationship difficulties, identity issues, grief and loss, difficulty adjusting to change/chronic
illness, and general life dissatisfaction; however, I have a particular interest in treating disordered
eating, providing before and after bariatric surgery support, and helping people form healthier
relationships with food and their bodies.
I work primarily from a compassion-focused cognitive behaviour therapy orientation; however, I also
integrate strategies and techniques from a variety of other evidence-based approaches (i.e., schema
therapy) based on ongoing assessment and individual needs and preferences.
